Following ten years of full-time, rigorous conservatory training, Beste Toparlak completed her Master’s Degree at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.
Studying with the world-renowned soloist and former Vienna Philharmonic principal harpist, Xavier de Maistre, this formative period refined her French technique and artistry to the highest international orchestral standards.
She later earned an Artist Diploma from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, studying with the legendary Susann McDonald. Alongside her elite performance training, she also focused on Harp Pedagogy, integrating the masterly technical brilliance of the Susann McDonald method into her own teaching philosophy.
Today, she brings this immense stage experience and technical lineage to her students, focusing on tonal richness and professional performance standards.
